Chen family as originators of Tai Chi?  Represented in this chart is the standard Tai Chi line that indicates development of Tai Chi originating with the Chen's, however, depending on how one defines Tai Chi, and as suggested by Professor Douglas Wile, there is evidence that the genesis of Tai Chi as we know it can be traced to Yang family practitioners.
